What every producer should know before releasing. AI has made creating vocal demos faster than ever, and for many producers it’s become part of the songwriting process. But once you’re ready to release your track, things become a little more complicated. Questions around copyright, licensing, streaming platforms and AI disclosure are still evolving, making it important to understand exactly what you’re releasing. Here’s what every producer should know before putting an AI vocal online. Things to consider before releasing AI vocals Who owns the melody and lyrics? When you create a song, there are […] - [Why Many Producers Replace AI Vocals Before Releasing Their Music](https://carolinapadro.com/why-many-producers-replace-ai-vocals/): Why Producers Are Re-Recording AI Vocals When it makes sense, and why human vocals still matter. AI has made writing demo vocals faster than ever. Instead of spending hours searching for a singer, producers can now generate vocal ideas in minutes, experiment with melodies, and quickly hear how a track might sound. But when it comes to releasing that track, many producers choose to replace the AI vocal with a real singer. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth re-recording your AI vocal, here are some of the biggest reasons producers are making the switch. Why producers are re-recording AI vocals It […] - [EDM Female Vocals: How to Find the Right Voice for Your Track](https://carolinapadro.com/edm-female-vocals-how-to-find-the-right-voice-for-your-track/): EDM Female Vocals:How to Find the Right Voice for Your Track If you’re producing EDM, the vocal isn’t just an add-on — it’s often what makes the track memorable. But finding the right female vocal for your EDM track can be harder than it sounds. Too generic, and it won’t stand out.Too niche, and it won’t fit your production. Here’s how to find vocals that actually elevate your track. What makes a great EDM female vocal? Not all vocals work in EDM. Make sure you look for: Melodically strong hooks → memorable toplines that listeners come back to. Genre-aware (written for […] - [AI Vocals vs Real Vocals: Which Is Better for Your Track?](https://carolinapadro.com/ai-vocals-vs-real-vocals-which-is-better-for-your-track/): AI Vocals vs Real Vocals Which Is Better for Your Track? Producers have started using AI vocals recently. They’re fast, cheap, and easy to generate… but are they actually good enough for a release? Let’s compare AI vocals vs real vocals from a producer’s perspective. AI Vocals Pros: Instant generation Low cost Great for demos Cons: Lack of emotion Robotic phrasing and poor pronunciation Often unusable for final release – not best quality Legal uncertainty (big one…) Perfect for ideas — not always for finished tracks. Real Vocals Pros: Human emotion and tone Clear phrasing and pronunciation Professional sound – high quality […] - [Royalty-Free Vocals Explained (What Producers Need to Know)](https://carolinapadro.com/royalty-free-vocals-explained/): Royalty-Free Vocals Explained (What Producers Need to Know) “Royalty-free vocals” is one of those terms everyone uses… but very few people fully understand. Can you release your track? / Do you keep the money? / Do you need to credit the singer? It’s all so confusing, isn’t it? If you’re using or buying vocals online, understanding how royalties and ownership actually work will save you from problems later — and help you release without stressing. Song ownership is split in two parts: The owner of the recording and/or composition has the sole right to reproduce, distribute and publicly perform the piece. […] - [Where to Find Ready-Made EDM Vocal Toplines (Complete Guide for Producers)](https://carolinapadro.com/where-to-find-ready-made-edm-vocal-toplines/): Where to Find Ready-Made EDM Vocal Toplines (A complete guide for producers) Finding the right vocals for your EDM track can be a struggle. In this guide, I’m focusing specifically on ready-made vocal toplines — the option most producers are moving towards when they want something fast, high-quality, and release-ready. There are other routes, like using sample packs or hiring a singer, but both come with trade-offs.
